When choosing your outfit, my biggest advice is to match your colours to the season of your photoshoot. Soft pinks, blues, yellows and purples work beautifully in spring and summer, while autumn tones like beige, burnt orange, brown, green, grey and black complement the landscape perfectly. In winter, cooler tones such as blue, grey and deep purple look especially striking.

Try to avoid very bright colours or busy patterns, as these can distract from you and your horse in the final images.

For my dreamy, fairytale style of photography, long flowy dresses photograph beautifully and add movement to the images. However, smart country wear also works wonderfully if you prefer a more classic equestrian look
